Annette specialises in semi-abstract paintings in oil.
Her landscapes use simplified shapes to create interesting and flattened spaces. Reoccurring motifs include trees, boundaries, fences, posts and simple shelters painted and daubed in thick oils using big brushes, knives and rags. Interpreted with an intensity and authenticity, Annette’s expressive work above all demonstrates a love of paint for its own sake. 
Annette’s paintings have been purchased by individuals in the UK, Europe and Australia. She has exhibited regionally and in London, including at The Royal Academy, Summer Exhibition.
